Fellow Angel of Goliad Descendants :

With April Showers comes May Flowers so we greet all our newer members. They are the few who realize that if our AOGDHP organization is to flourish we must send our membership dues of $25.00 per family to our Treasure Dan Garza .

We have several projects in the planning stages and these require funds: The building of the pedestal and marker for the Angel of Goliad statue in Goliad, the Angel of Goliad reunion 2009 or 2010, and selling of commemorative bricks to go at the feet of the Angel.

Again, we are asking for pictures of our descendants who are serving overseas in the military. Please email any pictures and letters to our president Gilbert Alvarez.  We are proud to salute our military veterans and those who are deceased on this our Memorial Day 2008.....LEST WE FORGET......

Rudy Ramirez Vice President AOGDHP was invited to the Dogwood Trails Assisted Living Community in Palestine, Texas and presented flags to the several surviving WW II vets on behalf of the AOGDHP organization on Memorial Day 2008.  As you may realize our WW II vets are slowly becoming fewer and fewer. We must instruct our younger generations to honor the memory of those soldiers who died for our country so that we may continue to live in peace and freedom and appreciate those who are still amongst us.

We congratulate our high school and college graduates of 2008. Have a great and safe summer 2008.
