Greetings Angel of Goliad Descendants:

As we enter another year, we hope that all our Angel of Goliad Descendants and our new President Obama will have a blessed and prosperous new year. A reminder that our $25.00 per family membership dues are due in March for 2009-2010.  Please forward your checks to our treasurer.

Bricks or pavers with your loved ones’ names on them are still being sold.  You will have an opportunity to see them during our annual Laying of the Wreath Festivities in Goliad the last weekend in March.  Work is being done to lay the ones which have been sold along with the benches.  The Angel is now high on a pedestal and we are awaiting the marker.  This will be a sight to behold.  Please make plans to attend this event.

Because no one has turned in any personal events, none is reported for this quarter.  We ask for your prayers for those Descendants who are ill and we remember our deceased Descendants with fond memories.

Our joyous event that will happen in May will be the birth of twin girls to Robert Jr. and Anna Ramirez from Chantilly, Virginia.  The proud grandfather is Robert (Bobby) Ramirez, son of Jose & Rebecca Alvarez Ramirez.
